In the electrical engineering of Sparkee, the primary challenge was incorporating the Qi charging coil into a design that was both efficient and aesthetically pleasing. We navigated the trade-off between power and size, ensuring that the device was powerful yet not bulky. Our team worked diligently on the placement of essential components like the LED indicator and the USB-C port, ensuring they complemented the device's form. We also focused on ensuring that Sparkee was compatible with a wide range of phones, incorporating mag-safe technology and providing an additional magnet for phone cases, making it a versatile charging solution.

The mechanical engineering of Sparkee involved creating a design that was not only visually appealing but also robust and functional. Our team focused on developing a low-profile design that would fit seamlessly into the modern lifestyle. The challenge was to create a device that was easy to handle, attach, and detach, enhancing the user's charging experience. We meticulously designed the charging puck to be lightweight and portable, yet durable enough to withstand regular use. The sleek form factor and the inclusion of a futuristic window over the Qi Coil added to its aesthetic appeal, making it a desirable accessory for any smartphone user.

In the NPI & Product development phase, our goal was to bring Sparkee from a conceptual design to a fully functional, market-ready product. This process involved close collaboration with manufacturing partners to ensure that every aspect of Sparkee's design was replicated accurately in production. We focused on maintaining the product's design integrity, ensuring that the bold color options and the peek-a-boo window over the Qi Coil were implemented as envisioned. Our team also worked on optimizing the manufacturing process to ensure Sparkee was produced efficiently without compromising on quality.
